The stone cage is an accessory for wood burning stoves that serves both practical and aesthetic functions. It enables one to conceal the chimney pipe that emerges from the sauna furnace, and stores the heat that emanates to the stonesfrom the pipe. The amount of heating stones for throwing steam increases, and at the same time the proportion of hot metal surfaces, which we want to keep to a minimum in the sauna, becomes smaller. The stone cage is mounted on top of the sauna stove, around the chimney pipe. Stone cages can also be placed on top of each other.
